Warning: Vehicle Burglary - January 25, 2005

On Tuesday 1/25/05 at 9.00 a.m. a vehicle burglary occurred within the Sunrise access to the ARP.  An off-duty ranger saw the suspicious vehicle and it’s occupants in the area of the crime at the time of occurrence but did not actually witness the break-in.  There was a $3000 loss of fishing and stereo equipment as well as a smashed window.  We do not have any pattern on the current burglaries.  We believe this is a good lead and are trying to follow up on it.  In the meantime please watch for the vehicle and phone the appropriate agency if you see it.  There is a good chance that the occupants of this vehicle will continue the break-ins after getting as much loot as they did in our case. As always try not to leave valuables in your vehicle, especially ID and credit cards.

Here’s the info from the above burglary:

Vehicle is a 1991 Honda Accord 4-dr dark brown in color with license 2WTV486.  It may have a cracked window in the left side passenger door.  Suspects are two Asian males in their twenties and no further description on them.

Thanks, and be safe.
